Our classes

Since the beginning of the school year 2021/22, the Weißfrauenschule is a pure elementary school.
The basic level of the Weißfrauenschule with its preliminary classes and grades 1 to 4 will remain at the current location at Gutleutstraße 38.

Right now we have 2 pre-classes and classes 1 to 4. The preliminary classes are attended by up to 8 students, and classes 1 to 4 by up to 12 students

From the coming school year 22/23, there will no longer be mixed-year classes 1/2 at the Weißfrauenschule. The children will be taught in classes 1 and 2. According to the class teacher principle, the pupils now remain in a learning group with constant support from a class teacher from enrolment in class 1 until the end of primary school in class 4. In this way, the pupils remain with the person to whom they relate for as long as possible. The learning group thus has the opportunity to grow together and the social interaction and the class community is not interrupted by new learning group compositions. 

In Grades 3 and 4, the focus is on preparing for return to general school. From the 3rd grade onwards, our students are already learning English.
